During 2015, LinkAge worked with Healthwatch Bristol to reach out to local older people across Bristol to gain feedback on key issues that were important to them when it came to their health and wellbeing.

LinkAge Bristol’s Intergenerational work, has been featured in the Bank of Ireland’s ‘Inspiring Partnership’ video series. The series showcases several unique partnerships from around the world, whose work is helping to make a difference to people’s lives.

Laughter filled Cineworld Cinema in Hengrove on Thursday 18th February, after a local Wilkinson’s branch fundraised for 262 older people to watch the new Dad’s Army film.

The Redcliffe Hub Advisory Group are delighted to be teaming up with the St Mary Redcliffe and Temple School Swing band, for an Afternoon Social on Tuesday 15th March.

During 2015, LinkAge was independently evaluated by a Student from the University of Bristol, in accordance with the requirements of the degree of ‘Master of Science’ by advanced study in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Public Health in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law.

This year has seen the LinkAge team grow once again, with two new faces joining us. We’d like to welcome Amber Williams and Karen Bennett.

Yesterday, volunteers from our Redcliffe Hub hit Asda with their cheer, handing out brochures to everyone and anyone who might be eligible! One of our volunteers helping on the day, devised a poem to encourage people to take a read!
