Society creates these rifts between us and old people, not us, we need more opportunities like this to come together”.

This summer LinkAge and Young Bristol held taster sessions of intergenerational activities across Bristol. This has been vital to our development of a demand driven programme of community focused intergenerational activity.

The activities included; creative activities, sporting opportunities, IT, Bush Craft and a scratch choir to name a few. These activities gave young people and people over 55 the opportunity to come together and share knowledge, skills, experience and also to have fun!
