On Thursday 9th July, 177 LinkAge participants, family and friends cruised their way around Flat and Steep Holm on the Balmoral to fundraise for LinkAge. The fundraising 'Say NO to Loneliness' cruise gave those involved with LinkAge the opportunity to meet other participants from across the city, have fun and raise money for charity.
The day was very much helped by the amazing weather and the Kooky Ukes, Jean Watson and Smoky River Band who came and played throughout the day, getting everyone singing and tapping their feet. A raffle was also organised on the day by Healthy Walks Co-ordinator Cheryl Martin.
In total an amazing £571.70 was raised from the day but most importantly everyone had a wonderful time.
