The Fair Fayre at the Bristol Folk House

A weekend of creativity, collaboration and celebration.

On the 24th November 2018, the Bristol Folk House will be taking part in Fair Saturday, a global movement to generate positive social impact.

Artists and Cultural organisations from all over the world will get together in a global festival to support social causes. It falls on this day because this is the day after Black Friday, the greatest expression of consumerism. Bristol is the first city in England to take part in this year’s movement.

LinkAge Network are the main partner for the weekend, and together we will bring you a weekend of arts and craft stalls, demos, a variety of wonderful creative workshops, live performances and more.

The daytime workshops and evening Ceilidh will be bookable in advance and suitable for anyone over the age of 18. The market stalls, demos and day performances will be free for all to enjoy.

Jo Stokes, Chief Executive Officer at LinkAge Network said,

We are thrilled to be partnering up with Bristol Folk House for Fair Saturday. It is thanks to the support we receive from businesses like Bristol Folk House, that we are able to continue our work to support older people across the city. This looks like it is going to be a great event.

To find out more check out the programme, but watch this space, as there are still more activities to be announced!

Proceeds from the weekend with be donated to LinkAge Network to help towards continuing the great work we do for our community.
