On the 5th September Linkage were thrilled to be invited to open the annual South West Seniors Network Conference at the Winter Gardens in Weston-super-Mare. LinkAge Line Dancers gave a demonstration of their demon dance steps, then conference delegates were serenaded by the Malcolm X Golden Oldies singing group.

Delegates were later given a first-hand account of her involvement with LinkAge by Margi Johnson. Margi gave a very personal description of how LinkAge activities helped her to build a new life in Bristol after moving from the South East. Marji’s testimony brought home the message that older age can be a positive, rewarding and fulfilling time in our lives.
