Last bite of our Talking Tables project!

After nearly two years, we are coming to the end of the wonderful Talking Tables project, funded by Bristol Ageing Better.

The project has seen nine different groups get together at three city farms across Bristol: St Werburgh’s, Windmill Hill and Lawrence Weston, and with friendly faces, lots of laughs and an abundance of delicious food, the project has been a great success. Mouth-watering recipes from around the world were cooked, vegetables were picked straight from the land, and many Tupperware containers were filled with valuable leftovers.

But Talking Tables wasn’t just about the food; lots of people had the chance to make new friends, learn about other events and activities within the city, sing along to the playing of instruments, or even learn the practice of Tai Chi.

We’re really pleased to have received such fantastic feedback from participants, and we’d like to thank the farms and everyone who attended for making the project so special and enjoyable.
