LinkAge Network is pleased to be a part of this year’s Celebrating Age Festival, in partnership with Bristol Age UK, Bristol Ageing Better, St Monica Trust & Active Ageing Bristol.
The Celebrating Age Festival aims to challenge stereotypes and recognise the contribution of older people in society. Everyone is welcome to take part – healthy and active ageing is important for us all. The festival is a fantastic opportunity to try a new craft, make new friends and share experiences.
This year the Festival of Ideas is also on board, to discuss issues related to ageing, like our panel discussion on Monday 7 Oct on retirement and life transitions.
There are other panel discussions on Healthy Ageing on 23 October 2019 and Innovation in Housing for Older People on 24 October 2019.

Throughout the month there will be plenty of taster activities, open days and events for everyone to get involved in, the majority of which are completely free of charge thanks to the amazing partners supporting the festival.
