ACoRP award for Games on the Train video

LinkAge Network’s Community Development Officer for North Bristol, Tracy Edwards-Brown, attended the Association of Community Rail Partnerships (ACoRP) Awards and Gala evening on 3 October 2019.

LinkAge Network, Severnside Community Rail Partnership and Great Western Railway work alongside local volunteers to host ‘Games on the Train’, an initiative to get people together, have fun and combat loneliness and social isolation.

Severnside Community Rail Partnership’s brilliant short film about the project, called ‘Overcoming Loneliness with Games on the Train’ reached the shortlist for the Photo and Video category of the Community Rail in Action award.

We were delighted to place third!

Thanks to everyone who voted for us and everyone who has come along and joined in with the fun this past year. A big thanks to Severnside Community Rail Partnership for producing such a great video which you can watch below.
