LinkAge Network is a Bristol-based charity that works with people aged 55 and over in Bristol and the surrounding areas. Our aim is to create lasting solutions for older people to reduce social isolation and loneliness, improve health and wellbeing and strengthen communities. Our work involves informing over 55’s about what’s on across Bristol and the surrounding area, disseminating resources, delivering projects and running a Network.
Our volunteer role offers the opportunity to work as part of a team in a busy, supportive, friendly office environment and would suit someone who not only shares our passion for working with older people but also is a good communicator, is organised and accurate in their work and has a can-do attitude.
In return we will offer you the opportunity to keep active and busy in your spare time undertaking a variety of office related tasks and attending and supporting some of our events and activities, flexibility in working hours/days and a very rewarding way to spend some of your spare time.
