We would like to say a big thank you to three local pubs for raising a fantastic £369.18, at their Charity Vintage Motorbike Rally.
After the success of last years event, the pubs hosted their second annual Motorbike Rally on Saturday 26th May 2018. The day saw bikers come together at The Old Crown Inn in Kelston where they enjoyed a bacon butty before heading off to The Inn at Freshford and Cross Guns Avoncliff. The event finished with a fantastic BBQ provided by Barabiku Outdoor.
Despite the initial poor weather forecast, the pubs raised an amazing £738.36 on the day to be donated to local charities Age UK Wiltshire and LinkAge Network.
Kate Constance, Fundraising Manager at LinkAge Network said, “We are so grateful to the pubs for their ongoing support and for raising such a fantastic amount of money for the charities. The money raised will help LinkAge Network to continue to reduce social isolation and strengthen communities for local older people.”
