The festive season has begun and LinkAge has organised a Christmas quiz for the older residents of Stockwood and the surrounding area. The LinkAge Christmas Quiz is taking place on Friday 12th December, 2-4.30pm at Whitchurch Royal British Legion, Staunton Lane, Whitchurch, BS14 0QF.
At this special yearly quiz event there will be cash prizes for the winning team as well as those in 2nd and 3rd place. There will also be festive food and refreshments, a raffle and live music and entertainment from ‘John the Troubadour’.
Tickets are £4 and are available from the Whitchurch Royal British Legion and the Stockwood LinkAge Office at the South Bristol Sports Centre. Anyone over 55 is welcome to attend and you do not have to already be a LinkAge participant. We look forward to seeing you there.
