The Post-Retirement Opportunities (PRO) Project aims to help people aged 55+ who are approaching retirement or facing redundancy manage the shift into the next phase of their lives.
LinkAge Network are running a series of events in 2018-19, showcasing the wide range of opportunities and advice on offer in and around Bristol, across the areas of money, work, volunteering, learning, leisure and health & wellbeing.
The fairs feature guest speakers, workshops, and information stalls, offering attendees the opportunity to discover more about the opportunities and advice available to them, explore and share ideas, hear from those with lived experience of retirement, and meet and socialise with people at a similar stage in life.
The small group workshops focus on some of the specific areas covered by the project, from financial planning to staying fit, healthy and active in retirement.
Events are FREE and open to anyone aged 55+. Refreshments provided.

Funded by the Bristol and District Retirement Council, PRO is being delivered in collaboration with the Anchor Society and Business in the Community, who are also offering a programme of training and work placements for over 55s requiring support with return to work or wishing to improve their employability skills.
