The Macmillan Prevention and Re-enablement Project closed on Friday 31st May 2019.
Maggie Crowe, Macmillan Partnership Manager said “We are sad to see the Macmillan Prevention and Re-enablement Project come to a close. The pilot project has supported over 350 people, aged 55+, living with cancer to get active and feel better. Macmillan is committed to supporting people with cancer in the community and helping them to live life as fully as they can. Although the project is closing there is still support available through Macmillan, our partner LinkAge Network and many other local services.”
LinkAge Network and Macmillan Cancer Support would like to thank everyone who has supported the project, and we continue to work together to ensure anyone with cancer needing help to get active can still access support from existing local services.
