The Community Development Coordinators are linking with voluntary organisations across Bristol, to create local network meetings that support those working in community development.
The North Bristol Community Development Network is a meeting that takes place every six weeks, and gives those working in community development, the opportunity to learn something new and explore ways of working together to avoid duplication.
The first half of the meeting is an opportunity to share information and catch up on any relevant news. The second half is an opportunity for those who work with, or plan to work with people over the age of 50, to talk about developments in their work and discuss challenges that they have faced.
If you work in community development in North Bristol and would like to be involved or know more please contact Tracy Edwards-Brown on 07738 104 013 or via email email@example.com
The South Bristol Gathering is a place where those working in community development come together to network, learn, share ideas and develop best practice, in a fun and informal environment. The Gatherings are jointly organised by workers from across South Bristol, with a different organisation hosting each meeting.
If you work in community development and would like to be involved in future South Bristol Gatherings, please contact Emma Gwynne on 07738 104 101 or via email firstname.lastname@example.org
