LinkAge and St Georges Bristol

Hannah Currant our LinkAge Community Development Worker in Redcliffe met the Education Team of St Georges through a storytelling project in Redcliffe earlier this month. St Georges were really struck by the work that LinkAge are doing and want to support LinkAge with low cost or free tickets to events that they are running.

Catherine Freda the Head of Education said “Music is many things to many people, but its uplifting, life-affirming nature can make it a true friend and companion, whatever your age or circumstances.  We at St George’s Bristol are delighted to be able to extend this musical arm of friendship to LinkAge members by offering free and discounted tickets to some of our daytime concerts in the coming season.”

Hannah Currant from our Redcliffe hub said “I am delighted that St Georges has made such a generous offer to LinkAge Members, and we hope this is the beginning of something great! Bristol is rich in opportunities but not everyone can afford or get to them, and Cultural organisations such as this making this generous offer opens up the opportunities for more people to enjoy and make the most of, we are really pleased to have made this link.
